The FrSky TWIN TW GR6 is a compact dual 2.4GHz receiver with an integrated high-precision variometer, designed for pilots who want enhanced RF resilience, long-range control and accurate altitude telemetry.

The TW GR6 uses FrSky's active-active TW protocol, where both 2.4GHz frequency bands operate simultaneously. Unlike conventional active-standby redundancy systems, both RF links are active at the same time, providing a highly resilient radio connection for demanding RC applications.

The receiver features an upgraded high-precision variometer capable of measuring altitude from -700m to 10,000m with 0.1m resolution, together with vertical speed measurement up to ±10m/s. This makes the TW GR6 particularly well suited to gliders and other aircraft where accurate altitude and climb/sink information is important.

For racing applications, the receiver also supports 4ms Race Mode with telemetry, combining ultra-low latency with the resilience of the dual 2.4GHz TW system.

The TW GR6 provides 6 PWM channel ports, SBUS Out with 16CH/24CH modes, and telemetry through FBUS and S.Port. FBUS allows control and telemetry to be carried bidirectionally over a single connection, helping simplify aircraft wiring. An inverted S.Port is also provided for straightforward connection to compatible flight controllers.
