Description

The FrSky HALL RPM Sensor ADV is a compact, high-speed rotational speed sensor designed for monitoring RPM in RC aircraft and other compatible model applications. As part of the FrSky ADVANCE (ADV) sensor range, it supports both FBUS and S.Port protocols, allowing RPM telemetry to be transmitted directly to compatible FrSky receivers and radios.

The Hall-effect sensor measures rotational speeds from 400 to 60,000 RPM, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including electric motors, engines and other rotating components.

When connected directly to a receiver's S.Port/FBUS port, the sensor can transmit RPM telemetry for display on a compatible FrSky radio. Alternatively, the sensor can be switched to PWM mode, allowing the rotation signal to be passed to a compatible device port that supports RPM calculation.

The supplied magnet is designed to work with the Hall sensor to detect rotation, while the extremely compact 2.5g sensor makes it suitable for installations where space and weight are important considerations.
