The FrSky GPS ADV Plus is an advanced GPS telemetry sensor designed for modern RC aircraft and compatible flight-control systems. Part of the FrSky ADVANCE (ADV) sensor range, it supports both FBUS and S.Port, providing real-time telemetry information including position, altitude and speed directly to compatible FrSky radio systems.

The GPS ADV Plus also provides accurate time synchronisation with GPS satellites. When used with the “Auto adjust from GPS” function in the FrSky ETHOS system, the radio and telemetry data can remain synchronised with accurate UTC time.

Unlike a standard GPS telemetry sensor, the GPS ADV Plus offers two working modes. It can operate directly as a telemetry sensor connected to a compatible receiver via S.Port/FBUS, or it can interface with a flight controller using I2C and serial ports.

Its integrated sensors, including a variometer and compass, allow a compatible flight controller to obtain real-time altitude and heading information for advanced navigation and flight-control applications.
