Specifically designed for 4 stroke glow engines, This soft beam mount reduces vibrations created by the engine along the airframe increasing the airframes life. As an added bonus this also increases servo life & reduces there wear! Win Win all round! The normal mounting proceedure would be onto mount the engine mount to the fuselages integeral ply crutch, this would be via the four mounting posts one each end of the beam mount. The posts have a 4MM cap head bolt running through its length & a anchor nut is used to secure the post to the ply crutch (these included) The alloy beams of the engine mount are indeed the engine mounting point, the position of placement being adjustable along its length, with the position being confirmed, the holes to mount the engine can be marked & drilled as required. The thickness of the alloy beams means the beams could easily be drill & tapped, therefore making the use of nuts as fixing redundant. But if tapping out the thread is too much, then a straight hole will sufice.
