X-Tech 30MM Stand Offs

X-Tech 30MM Stand Offs,, stand -offs can be used to alter the position of an engine in respect to the main fire wall of the model. In this case you would be able to position the engine 30mm infront of the fire wall. It is best not to use stand-off longer than 75mm as this may cusse distortion of the engines mountings. This stand off kit comprises of 4pcs of blue anodised 30mm alloy stand-offs with a central bore hole of 5mm.  4pcs of 60mm long 5mm dia steel cap head bolts & 4pcs of 5mm anchor nuts are supplied with this kit.

Direct mounting of stand-offs is not recomended on any 3W engines with the exception of the 3W55xi which has been designed with stand-off operation in mind. A sub former of ply has to be mounted to the stand-offs & the 3W engine mounted in turn to the sub-former for the other engined in the range.
