The 4 cylinders and the crankshaft with its 5 ball bearings ensure an astonishing soft running characteristic. Vibrations are minimized had help to increase the life time of the airframe and on board electronic. Noise level is low. The sound of the engine cannot be compared with a 2-cylinder boxer engine.Baffling of the engine is mandatory to prevent an over heating and damage of the engine. The engine can be used for a wide range of models. Characteristics are : reliability, long life and power.

3W-CS-Serie ( Competition Series ) is characterized by better performance, throttle response and more power and torque. Selected parts are used for these engines. This results in a higher performance level. Transfer ports of the cylinder and crankcase are modified as well as the exhaust port.

The micro processor controlled igniton allows to easy start  the engine. The programmed timing curve is laid out for the engines and guarantees a good running characteristic in all RPM – ranges. An out put signal to monitor RPM is standard as well as a LED showing the status of the ignition. The voltage range of the standard ignition : 4,8V – 8,4V ( 2 cell LIPO battery ). Operating Voltage : 6,0 V.
