3-Meter Aerobatic models? No problem for this engine. With its power out put the 3W-170xiB2 supplies more than enough power for all aerobatic maneuvers. A good choice for models towing lager wing span Sailplanes. The crankshaft with its 3 ball bearings convinces with soft running characteristics.

The suitable 3W-muffler system insures excellent running characteristics. Due to the to its weight to power ratio the engine is suitable for a wide range of models. Long life, reliability and power are its attributes.

TS –Version ( Twin Spark , 2 spark plugs per cylinder ) convinces with a low idle and softer running characteristic.  All boxer engines with this set up have a better reliability. In case 1 ignition will fail the 2^nd. ignition - which operates autonomously – allows the engine to run further with reduced RPM ( 200 – 300 ).

3W-CS-Serie ( Competition Series ) is characterized by better performance, throttle response and more power and torque. Selected parts are used for these engines. This results in a higher performance level. Transfer ports of the cylinder and crankcase are modified as well as the exhaust port.

The micro processor controlled igniton allows to easy start  the engine. The programmed timing curve is laid out for the engines and guarantees a good running characteristic in all RPM – ranges. An out put signal to monitor RPM is standard as well as a LED showing the status of the ignition. The voltage range of the standard ignition : 6V – 8,4V ( 2 cell LIPO battery ).
