If you have blown your Piston it is reccomended you replace your remaining Liner & ring because if any tiny fragments of metal particles remain in your engine this can induce bypass allowing your engine to run lean & cause your engine to blow another Piston/Ring/Liner & possibly Cylinder Head & Head Gasket Set. Additionally if there is any scoring on your liner from a previous change this can allow bypass & cause the same problems listed above.
