The HobbyWing Platinum Pro 130A HV Opto V4 Speed Controller is a top-tier ESC designed for helicopter enthusiasts looking for precision and reliability. Featuring a high-performance 32-bit processor running at 72MHz and advanced algorithms, this ESC ensures smooth motor start-ups and optimizes motor speed governing. It delivers ultra-smooth and consistent control, eliminating tail-drift issues commonly experienced by helicopters.

Key features include an adjustable start-up time (ranging from 8 to 25 seconds), allowing pilots to customize their flight experience. This ensures the perfect starting point every time. With four selectable brake modes — Brake Disabled, Normal Brake, Proportional Brake, and Reverse Brake — pilots can fine-tune braking to their preferences, enhancing overall control during flight. The brake force in proportional mode adjusts automatically based on throttle stick position, while reverse brake mode enables motor rotation changes through a spare transmitter channel.

Equipped with multiple protection features, including ESC thermal, capacitor thermal (HobbyWing’s patented technology), ESC overload, throttle signal loss (Fail Safe), and low voltage cutoff, the Platinum V4 extends the service life of the ESC and ensures safe, reliable performance.
