The Desert Aircraft DA-170 is a powerhouse built for giant-scale aerobatic and IMAC competition aircraft. With a massive 171.8cc displacement, 13.2 kW (18 HP) of output, and class-leading torque, this engine delivers unmatched performance with low vibration, ultra-smooth throttle response, and Desert Aircraft’s legendary reliability.

Despite its size and output, the DA-170 shares the same length and mounting dimensions as the DA-150, making upgrades or replacements easy. Ideal for those who demand maximum thrust and rock-solid dependability for their large-scale setups.
