The Katana S is designed for glow or smaller petrol motors. The Katana S is one of the latest X-Tech models featuring a unique system for adjusting the wing position fore and aft, allowing a wide range of motors to be used whilst maintaining the correct CofG.

The Katana S is a fully aerobatic design and selection of a high-output YS motor (1.40 DZ or 1.60DZ) will result in a light weight model with fully unlimited performance. Torque rolling at moderate throttle settings and then 'punching' out vertically upwards are part of the possible flight envelope. 

The laser cut construction makes for a precise and light airframe while maintaining considerable strength.   

As with all other X-Tech models, the Katana S features a light weight aluminium wing tube, pre-painted fibreglass parts (cowl, spats, etc.) and a comprehensive hardware pack.
