The Great Planes Waco is a scale model of the classic Waco YMF-5 first produced in 1934. The original Waco had smooth lines, a signature trim scheme, and a timeless design. It was used for training, U.S. Mail delivery, and everyday general aviation. In 1986, the Waco Classic Aircraft Corporation answered the demand for a classic, open-cockpit aircraft, and they began reproducing the popular Waco with modern electronics.
The Great Planes replica offers instantly recognizable looks, an IMAA-legal wingspan, and outstanding, stable performance with either glow or petrol power. It's ideal for the flier who wants a truly impressive "Golden Age" model that flies as good as it looks.

• Painted fiberglass wheel spats, struts, cabanes, plus wing and landing gear fairings.
• Aluminium tubes ensure that the horizontal stabilizer is perfectly aligned, as well as being faster and simpler to install.
• Pre-hinged ailerons and elevators simplify setup and reduce assembly time.
• Cowl includes formed and painted blister details and wraps around a replica radial engine complete with pushrod tubes.
• Hidden cowl ring "invisibly" secures the cowl to the fuselage.
